| 4 | A little uncertainty about DOB. This date is taken from a baptismal record which gives her father as Joseph Holmes, not John but mother as Eliza. cannot find any other birth/baptismal record for an Elizabeth Holmes and no marriage record for a Joseph and Eliza. Chris Paton is satisfied that this is an error in the record, and her father was John, based on a DNA analysis by one of her descendants. Eliza's marriage cert to Thomas Hyndman shows her father as John and her age as over 21; the baptism record would leave her a few months short of 21 but Protestant baptism often took place some months after birth. | Holmes, Elizabeth (I189)

| 20 | Baptismal record for David DOB as 1 Mar 1864, parents John Laird and Jane (no surname) and place of birth at Greenhills, Raphoe which ties in with John’s address on his marriage cert to Jane Reid and the address on his death cert in 1864. John’s occupation is given as Coachman Birth cert for Fanny Laird gives DOB as 01 April 1864, parents John Laird Jane Reid; John’s occupation is again given as coachman but address given as Magheryee, Castlefinn. Greenhills is in Magherahee district Seems unlikely for two John Lairds to both be a coachman and both be married to a woman called Jane, both in same general area so I think these are probably twins with bit of a mix-up in dates. Have not been able to find any further records for these children. | Family: John Laird / Jane Reid (F14)

| 34 | From Chris Paton: It would appear that John moved to Belfast shortly after [1911]to stay with his daughter Lizzie. He died at 41 Groomsport Street on 19 JUL 1914, with the cause being myocarditis mouth and heart failure. His occupation was noted as shoemaker, and he was a widower, but his age was out by a good decade, being noted as just 63. The informant was his son-in-law, Robert H. Stevenson, present at death and resdent at 41 Groomsport Street. (Source: Geni D/1914/49/1007/89/36 Belfast Urban 3). John was buried in the same lair as his daughter Lizzie would later be, at City Cemetery, C3 553, on 21 JUL 1914 (Belfast City Council burials site). | Holmes, John (I168)

| 42 | Not 100% sure about this marriage. dates fit in ok but they had 2 children, Elizabeth and Margaret, with same names later in second marriage. Possible both girls died very young and names used again for later children - common practice in times gone by. Note that Margaret was born just 3 weeks before Eliza's death so perhaps birth complications? | Family: David Holmes / Eliza Marshall (F19)
| 43 | Only registered as Anthony but Michael fits in with census records | Gallagher, Michael Anthony (I23)

| 46 | Rebecca was married in Oct 1900 and died the following May of an intestinal tumour, which also caused her to miscarry her unborn child. She seems to have returned home very shortly after her marriage (or maybe never left it) as she is recorded there in the 1901 census | CRAWFORD, Rebecca (I95)

| 49 | Stated as 43 years married in 1911 census but more likely 1871-1874 going by first born child (Edward) Several age errors in 1901 census. Also shows son-in-law Willie McKnight married to Madgie and several children but I can find no birth or marriage record relating to that family so likely an error | Family: Michael Gallagher / Hannah O'Donnell (F1)
| 50 | Year based on age given as 76 on death cert | Graham, Elizabeth (I163)
